London Bridge Community Christmas 2016
Another edition of the London Bridge Community Christmas. Over the past six years Team London Bridge have collected thousands of gift donations from London Bridge employees. The charities we support each year have a big impact on the local community, working with the homeless, elderly, young people from disadvantaged backgrounds and those who struggle with mental health issues. This year, the tradition continues and we’ll be collecting presents throughout November to be wrapped on 7th December ready for the charities to give out at their special annual Christmas lunches.
Charities supported this year are: Bede House, Beormund Community Centre, CoolTan Arts, Ronald McDonald House, Time and Talents, Stones End Day Centre, South London Mission, South London Cares

1st November – 2nd December – Christmas Gift Collections
You are invited to make gift donations from the 1st November to the 1st December. You can arrange for your organisation to host a collection point by e-mailing Sofia at the email below.Check the donation guidelines below for tips on what to donate.
What can you give?
Non-perishable and non-used gifts!
Boxes of biscuits, jams, mugs, blankets, or puzzles, games or cuddly toys for children. Toiletries with attractive packaging, shampoo, toothbrushes, nice smellies, towels. New clothes such as t-shirts, underwear, tracksuit bottoms, shirts, thermal vests, socks, hats, gloves and scarves and warm jumpers are all appreciated.
5th December – Christmas Carols and Lights Switch-on
Join the children of Snowsfields and Tower Bridge Primary Schools along with volunteers from local businesses as they carol their way from Potters Fields Park along to Hay’s Galleria.
Christmas lights will be switched on at both locations, plus more festive treats from 16:30 – 17:30.

7th December – Volunteer Gift Wrapping Day
Help to make sure all your gift donations look the part before sending them to local charities.
Individuals and businesses can book a gift wrapping slot between 10:00 and 18:00 for as little or as long as you like. The London Bridge team’ll host a majority of the gift wrapping throughout the day at 23 Magdalen Street, SE1 2EN. Choose and book your slot here. Businesses can also organise their own wrapping sessions in the office, please email events@teamlondonbridge.co.uk to arrange this – it could be a great lunchtime activity for your team.
