A visit to the Tate Modern Fire Garden

A visit to the Tate Modern Fire Garden

A crackling, spitting, after-dark adventure by Compagnie Carabosse which disrupt public spaces with flaming artworks that remind us of our most elemental human need as described in the Visit London website.

A late visit to the Tate Modern transformed in a magical site with burning metal structures, cascading candles and flickering flowerpots as part of London’s Burning. Though it was too late for live music our visit, there is no doubt the full experience was quite amazing.

Compagnie Carabosse

One of France’s most prominent street art groups, Compagnie Carabosse are a collective comprising of artistic designers, constructors, actors, musicians, technicians, inventors, poets, photographers and visual artists. For almost 20 years they have been working in public spaces throughout Europe and the world. They are driven by the philosophy that public spaces and streets should remain open to everyone and be a place for self expression and freedom.
