Artists Richard Ducker and Jane Boyer hold an open discussion on absurdity, smoothness and the seduction of text, sculpture as prop, and Sci fi as a metaphor in a search for the self.

Mick Peter solo exhibition
Director Mary Doyle gives an introduction talk about artist Mick Peter’s work, who transforms imagery derived from fiction, illustration and graphic design into playful installations, resembling quick hand drawn sketches which seem to have been cut from the flatness of the paper and dragged into three-dimensional space.

‘(loudly) chomp, chomp, chomp’
Jamie Fitzpatrick solo exhibition
Curator, Chris Bayley, discusses the works of Fitzpatrick’s practice which deals with the rhetoric of image making, the relevance of the figure and how objects and totemic gestures such as flags, statues or plinths are used to impose forms of power, authority and control.

Claudio Tozzi
‘New Figuration and the Rise of Pop Art 1967-1971’
Focusing on the first solo exhibition of this important Brazilian artist in the UK. Claudio Tozzi’s work shines a particular light on the politics of Pop Art in the late 1960s and early 1970s in Brazil
