Have you heard of the London Bridge Community Christmas gift drive?
Over the past six years they’ve collected thousands of gift donations from London Bridge businesses and employees. This year, the tradition continues and aims to reach even more local people than ever. Help them make sure that hundreds of people are not forgotten at Christmas.

The charities they work with each year have a big impact on the local community.  They work with some of the most disadvantaged young people in the area, as well as people who experience mental health problems or homeless or are at risk of social exclusion because of their age. The charities put on special Christmas lunches to ensure people are not on their own at Christmas, and The London Bridge Team are glad to be able to say that they support them through the London Bridge Community Christmas so that everybody gets a gift at this special time of year.

If you are not able to host a collection point but still want to donate, you can drop off unwrapped presents to The Bridge Lounge and Dining Room (186 Tooley Street), Brigade Bar and Bistro (139 Tooley Street) or The Stress Exchange (130 Tooley Street).
This year they are supporting:
Bede House

Ronald McDonald House
The Beormund Community Centre
Time and Talents

They also need volunteer wrappers for Tuesday 8 December between 12pm and 5pm at the Ronald McDonald House on Weston Street!
If you can cut sellotape, they need you!  Mince pies and refreshments will be served.  Email to confirm your place.  You can come for an hour or stay all day!
