Get physical on your bike with Healthy Rides. These regular rides will continue with second Saturday start from Canada Water Library ( 4th Sat start from Peckham Square) and use the 3rd Saturdays for some slightly longer rides known as Healthy Rides +. These “+” rides will be 9.30 – 1.00 and may use different start/finish locations.

The next event is on Saturday 20th February with a Canada Water Library start/finish point.  The route take your ride to Regents Park and back. Out via Smithfields and Torrington Place (new segregated cycle lanes). Back via Hyde Park, if time, then Embankment (EW segregated Superhighway), Blackfriars Bridge and Southwark Park.

Healthy Cycle Rides

A series of gently paced rides, mostly on cycle paths and quiet roads. Organised by Southwark Cyclists, the London Cycling Campaign group in the London borough of Southwark  2-hour rides in different locations across Southwark.

You can use your own bicycle or a borrowed one* (see below), the important thing is to enjoy London with these free easy-paced rides. Cycling is great exercise and can save you time and money. Southwark Cyclists run guided cycle rides on quiet roads or paths most Saturday mornings. You just turn up with a bike*, no booking required. Riders must be over 16 or accompanied by an adult
