Get Involved in the Canada Water Masterplan Consultation

The consultation process is facilitated by Soundings and will involve the community at each stage of design development to help inform the proposals. From agreeing local priorities and masterplan principles at the start; right through to fine-tuning the masterplan before it is submitted for planning and making the Statutory Consultation locally accessible.

Please contact them if you have any questions or to register your interest in Canada Water Masterplan project updates.

Next steps

Southwark Council has validated the outline planning application that was recently submitted for the Canada Water Masterplan. This also includes a detailed planning application for the project’s first three buildings (A1, A2 and K1). The statutory consultation period has now begun. Please click here for more information on the planning application and how to submit a formal comment.

Planning Application drop-in sessions

In addition to Southwark Council’s statutory consultation process, we would like to ensure that the planning documents are easily available locally and help increase accessibility to them for all, including those with commitments, limited internet access or less experience of the planning process.

We will be holding a number of planning application drop-in events at the Canada Water Masterplan Hub opposite Tesco in Surrey Quays Shopping Centre, where the planning documents will be available, and the team will be on hand to guide you to the information you need. Full event details are below.
