International Day of The Midwife 2019 at Morley College

Since 1992, the International Confederation of Midwives (ICM) has dedicated the 5th of May as the International Day of the Midwife (IDM). A day of awareness that globally recognises midwives and the work they do to ensure mothers and their families receive the quality care they deserve.

Morley College London is proud to recognise this important day with a special event on Wednesday 8th May between 2pm-4pm in the Emma Cons Hall. The event will be hosted by our current Access to HE: Health and Human Science (Midwifery Pathway) students and will feature a range of information, displays and  learner work. The event is open to all and free to attend.

Whether you keen are on pursuing midwifery as a career, or just want to learn more about the profession, please come along and support our students as we recognise the critical role of the midwife.
