Barnaby Keen is a British, London-based, multi-instrumentalist, producer and songwriter. With his project Flying Ibex he has released two albums; ‘Travel In Dangerous Places’ and ‘Habits’, and 3 singles which received plaudits from top BBC Radio 6 and BBC Radio 1 DJs. Rooted in improvised dance music and experimental electronic music, their songs also encompass down-beat ballads and an array of acoustic instruments including saxophones, strings and tuned percussion.

The performers are duly paid but the streams are free of access to all, therefore we hope you will consider making a donation, however small, to help our efforts to support musicians.

Support music venues and artists

Sands Films is a work space rather than a venue. With Covid all live event with audience have been cancelled and The Music Room concerts are exclusively online.

Sands Films never charge for delivering art and culture: all their events are free to access to all. However, they do rely on a certain amount of donation so they can pay technicians and musicians. Sands Films is a London Living wages employer and they pride themselves to be a sustainable business.

The voluntary support of our audience is essential. You can donate by visiting their website and watch previous music events.
