The Blacksmiths in the heart of Rotherhithe Street, just a stones throw away from the River Thames you will find a warm, family run bar & restaurant with a passion for serving the best food around.

With our fusion of English & Thai food, there is definitely something for everyone, from our fish & chips in our crispy Honeydew beer batter to the chicken thai green curry. Enjoy all of our homemade food, amazing sunday roasts & our fine ales. 

Along with the downstairs bar & restaurant, we have the lovely Nelsons Room upstairs to cater for private dining & function

You can hire the function room for private parties, meetings, buffets & sit down meals. The pub also have a small private bar manned by members of staff catering just for you. A television screen in the room is perfect for picture slideshows, meeting presentations or playlists. and celebrate special events such as Christmas Day, New Years Eve & Mother's Day!

If our Sunday Roast gets busy downstairs, we will be opening upstairs as an extra for all of our hungry customers.

Nelson Room is a lovely homely space decorated as an extension of the downstairs pub/restaurant, Lord Nelson himself is said to have drunk in our pub as his dock was a little down the road just behind Nelson House, which was built in the 1740's

Lady Hamilton, his girlfriend, was living just next door.
