Vault Festival 2023: Post Sex Spagbol

What happens when you mix Krissy, an irresponsible ball of anxiety, with a classroom full of gullible teen girls? Told by a three women ensemble, Post Sex Spagbol is a comedic story of sex, love and spagbol explores self-love, womanhood and growing up … as well as, vibrators, funerals, the twelve disciples, piss play and THAT mint shower gel.

About The Show

A new funny, fiery, female-led show that explores internalised misogyny while laughing through
relatable shags, gags, and female taboos. After being handed a job as counsellor and sex-ed teacher, Krissy, purposely leads a classroom full of goggle-eyed-girls down a motorway of mistakes. Fuelled by her own flaws and with a desire for destruction, Krissy intentionally feeds bad advice to the hormone-riddled girls, while being forced to face the femininity that the
world around her has trained her to hate. Three contrasting women seamlessly shift between the role of Krissy and various people in her life; from sleazy hook-up boys to speccy schoolgirls. This fast-paced, female-led show provides a space for women to reflect and challenge their own internalised biases; unpicking what it means to be feminine in an increasingly female-hating world. A fiercely funny new writing show that explores self-love, sex, mother/daughter relationships, womanhood and growing up … as well as, vibrators, funerals, the twelve disciples, piss play and that mint shower gel.
