Seniors Art School – Mobile Variety Club

CGP Dilston Grove presents Seniors Art School and Mobile Variety Club. Open to all with inquisitive and open minds over the age of 55

Polly Brannan’s Mobile Variety Club hits CGP London this autumn, collaborating with the Senior Art School. Take part in an active two-day art workshop, exploring the Peter Liversidge As Sculpture exhibition.

You will be invited to interpret the artist’s proposal through drawing ,sculpture, prop-making, comedy and performance, You will be invited to share the work through the mobile variety club platform.

Polly Branna is education curator at the Liverpool Biennial. She is an artist and educator who has produced projects at Frieze Art Fair, Lisbon Experimenta Festival and Nottingham Contemporary, amongst others. She is co-founder of Network Avant Gardening, and was a member of the Collective Public Works from 2005-2001

CGP London is an artist led gallery of contemporary art based across two venues in Southwark Park; The Gallery and Dilston Grove. Founded in 1984 by The Bermondsey Artists’ Group, the gallery has commissioned and presented over 140 free exhibitions by emergent, overlooked and established British and international artists.

CGP London manages The Gallery and Dilston Grove in Southwark Park, Bermondsey, London SE16.

Southwark Park is approximately 7 minutes walk from Canada Water station which is on the Jubilee and Overground (Highbury & Islington to Croydon) Lines. Buses travelling to Canada Water: 1, 47, 188, 199, 225, 381, 395, P12, C10.
