Family theatre: CLOWN (Ages 3+)

Theatre Peckham in partnership with Canada Water Culture Space presents this original musical family theatre production based on Quentin Blake’s classic picture book, the children’s cast from Theatre Peckham bring the magical world of the CLOWN to life.

A mean looking lady runs briskly down the front steps of an old house in a city street. She is holding in her arms a bundle of toys – soft, much loved toys that only a few days ago had belonged to a child. Where is she going?

She is going to the bin! She is going to throw the toys into the bin! Without a moment’s pause she takes the precious armful – and tips them – any way, anyhow, into the dustbin! Satisfied, she walks away, back into the house. Night falls.

Will CLOWN manage to save his friends in time before the Dustbin men arrive?
