Graphic Designer needed for Mayflower 400 souvenir publication

Mayflower 2020 commemorates 400 years since the Mayflower Ship, with crew & passengers, began its journey to the ‘New World’.

Mayflower 2020 commemorates 400 years since the Mayflower Ship, with crew & passengers, began its journey to the ‘New World’.

A community organisation are about to compile a free commemorative souvenir publication for local people in Bermondsey and Rotherhithe, which will remember the sailing of the Mayflower ship from the River Thames in July, 1620.

The publication will include information about local events that are being held this year, with a narrative of the story, to help remember the sailing of the Mayflower 400 years ago 

  • Souvenir magazine will contain 28 pages
  • Minimum print-run of 6,500 units
  • All content (copy, photos, images etc.) will be available for design/layouts in early April
  • PDFs to print at the end of April

The publisher will be able to remunerate designer/s to work on this project to produce a striking, beautiful and memorable souvenir publication.

How to apply

The project is open to undergraduate/postgraduate/unqualified designers who have experience in InDesign / Illustrator or other industry standard platform.

Please get in contact if you’d like to be considered as the designer for this project and attach PDFs of some of your past work and links to your portfolio.  

Also please attach a Curriculum Vitae and say what you are currently doing.
