London Bubble Theatre weekly drama classes for all ages

London Bubble theatre run a number of participatory groups in Rotherhithe open to ages from 6 upwards. These weekly sessions give the opportunity for a wide range of people to make theatre together, assisted by experienced theatre practitioners and other specialists.

The team run inclusive classes and their facilities are fully accessible. If you would like to talk about any specific access needs or additional support for your or your child, please contact London Bubble directly. A parking space can be made available for anyone attending classes with access needs but we ask that you contact us about reserving a place in advance.

There is no audition process – we just need you to be enthusiastic and committed. GROUPS ARE OPEN TO ALL.

Drama Classes for the young ones!

London Bubble drama classes run 3 terms per year, roughly in line with school terms. The next term will start w/c 11th September 2017. If you’re new to Bubble, that’s a good time to come and try a free taster class available for new joiners. Please contact London Bubble Theatre for more details or to book a place.

London Bubble Theatre classes for 6-8 years old

The youngest theatre makers!  These playful sessions will build children’s confidence and communication, and provides opportunities to create and act out their own imaginative stories. The group  meet on:

Tuesdays | 5-6.30pm starting 12th September until 5th December
Saturdays | 10-11.30am starting 16th September until 9th December

no class 24th & 28th October during half term week.

London Bubble Theatre classes for 9-11 years old

A mix of new to Bubble and experienced theatre makers in this group. The sessions remain playful, with an emphasis on building confidence and communication and the children are encouraged to develop their instincts as story makers and theatre makers. The group meet weekly on:

Tuesdays, 6.30-8pm starting Tuesday 12th September until Tuesday 5th December 2017. No class 24th October for half term break.

London Bubble Youth theatre  for 12 -17 years old

The young people in this group may be new to theatre making or they may be highly experienced artists. The sessions will give them an opportunity to be connected to a creative community, to develop their performance skills and be curious about the world that they are growing up in. The group meet on:

Mondays during term time, 6.30-8.30pm. New term starts 11th September until 4th December 2017

Adult Drama Group

The theatre makers in this group come from all walks of life and have a wide range of experience. They develop a supportive and creative community, build skills and make theatre about the things that are important to them.

Wednesdays,  7-9pm. New term starts 13th September – 6th December 2017. No class 18th October for half term break

Intergenerational group and Tea Break Theatre

The Bubble’s intergenerational, ‘vernacular theatre’ projects bring together adults, children and artists of all ages to explore a theme or major world event.

Tea Break Theatre group meet on Fridays, 10.30 – 12.30pm from 8th September, no classes August 2017. This a free and fantastic way to have fun.
