Following last January’s successful double-event arranged with Highbury Fields and Peckham Rye, Park Run are planning to repeat the same schedule. For the benefited of the uninitiated, Park Run HQ has decreed New Year’s Day to be the only day of the year when parkrunners are allowed to run more than one event on the same day, if the possibility arises.
Southwark’s NYD event will be at 10:30 rather than the usual 9am start.
Those who might benefit from a lie in will find this helpful and those keen on attempting a NYD double will be keen to know that Highbury Fields and Peckham Rye are (at the time of writing) both planning to hold their events at 9am, enabling this double potential. We advise you to monitor the ParkRun website for any last minute changes to the planned schedule (http://www.parkrun.org.uk/christmas-compendium/)
