Christmas is an exciting time for everyone, but it can be difficult for those who are lonely or going through traumatic times. While people all over the country receive dozens of gifts during the holiday season, many people may not even expect to have one.

So, this year we have teamed up with two local charities, Time & Talents and Bede House, to help support vulnerable, isolated and lonely people in our community by providing them with a gift to open on Christmas Day.

Our Giving Tree can be found outside Tesco from the 25th November, where we invite kind hearted customers to support our appeal. If you would like to help, simply purchase a gift valued between £5 to £10; and hand it in at our Customer Service Desk between 1pm and 7pm. Then one of these charities will ensure your gift is given to a worthy local person in time for Christmas.

Gift Ideas:

  • Biscuits and chocolate
  • Puzzles and calendars
  • Toiletries
  • Hats and scarfs
  • Hot water bottles
  • Thank you for your support and Merry Christmas!
