Albion Street Civic Centre proposal

The regeneration of Albion Street is taking place at a pace that many in the area find too slow. The Old Library/Civic centre will be a key element to revitalise the street. The project includes 25 residential units in this new build with a medical centre on the ground floor to relocate the current Albion Street Group Surgery. The building is being designed by Bell Phillips Architects

The first initial proposal took place in a consultation event back on Monday 2oth July 2015 with a follow up planned for the spring of 2015. You can see the consultations boards below. The second phase of the project should take place sometime in early spring -date, venue and time to be confirmed. We suggest to check Southwark Council website for further updates)
