Make It Blue Market: local craft makers call-out
Local craft and food market in South Bermondsey is looking for craft makers and food producers in SE16 and SE1 to be part of Make It Blue Market during December once the lockdown is lifted.
If you are based in Rotherhithe or Bermondsey, have public liability insurance and sell crafts, this is a great opportunity to support a local market while being able to sell to the local community, too. If you are interested, visit www.makeitblue.london for more details
About the market
If you haven’t visited it before, Make It Blue Market is a series of market events held at Market Place in The Blue in South Bermondsey. Though many will be familiar with The Blue Market, home to more traditional traders such as the fish stall, the fruit and veg stall or hot food traders, Make It Blue is focused on craft makers and food producers.
The market started in 2019 but their plans to start again in March was cancelled with the impact of COVID-19. In October 2020, they launched a start-up program to support new traders while also accepting other established traders to sell their crafts and food products.
