Mvsica Antica presents Monteverdi at 450

Celebrating the 450th anniversary of one of the greatest composers of all time, Musica Antica Rotherhithe perform works from across Claudio Monteverdi’s lifetime, from some of his earliest madrigals to his later stageworks, culminating in a semi-staged performance of one of his often overlooked courtly entertainments: the Ballo delle Ingrate. The event features soprano Jessica Eucker and Viol players Alison Kinder and Tamsin Lewis
