Scandi Art Trail Music at Cafe Deli Felice

The Scandi Art Trail Cafe Deli Felice features music by Antti Kajander who will be playing at the Finnish Church from 18:00. As a large crowd is expected, you will be able to enjoy a double bill of music at nearby Cafe Deli Felice at 40 Albion street including a second act by Antti.

Those who attended the May Day at the Caryatides early this month may remember the talent of accordionist Hug Barwell who will be entertaining everyone at Cafe Deli between 18:00 to 19:00

Accordionist, entertainer, teacher & MIDI expert Hugh Barwell is known to many locals after having taken part in The Friends Of Southwark Park Activities.

Antti Kajander is a one-man orchestra with fused soulful blues and jazz and rock.He has been to the University of Cardiff, The Royal Welsh College of Music and had the Jazz Music Bachelor of Science degree in 2009. He also works as conductor of Lohja Theatre and Lohja Big Band.

He played gigs in Finland, Spain, Great Britain, Sweden and the United States. The first single of Antti Kajander’s upcoming solo album. Yet untitled album, it will be released in Autumn of 2016.

THE SCANDI ART TRAIL 2016

The Finnish Church and Norwegian Church with the support of sponsors and the collaboration of local businesses bring to Albion Street in Rotherhithe a series of arts events including music and exhibitions. Though each event is linked to one or the other church, all of them unify in the spirit of the Scandinavian links and heritage with Southwark and Rotherhithe in special. Please refer to each individual event for opening times.
